This tutorial shows how to install Cinema HQ on Firestick, Fire TV, Android TV/Google TV, and other devices.

Cinema HQ is an all in one streaming app that provides movies, TV shows, anime, and much more. It recently received an update to V6.1 on March 26, 2026 with a refreshed interface and added integrations.

While the name is similar, it is not to be confused with the once-popular Cinema HD APK that has officially been shut down.

While there are free links available, users will have a better streaming experience pairing this app with debrid services like Real-Debrid, Premiumize, TorBox, etc.

Since Cinema HQ is not available in official app stores, it must be side-loaded on Android-powered devices like the Amazon Firestick, Fire TV, and Android TV/Google TV devices.

How to Install Cinema HQ on Firestick & Android TV

In this guide, we are installing the Cinema HQ app on an Amazon Firestick 4K Max, but these instructions also work on Android TV/Google TV devices.

Note: This app does NOT work on the Fire TV Stick Select model. This device does not run on Android OS and instead uses “Vega OS” which is Amazon’s in house platform.

1. You must first install the Downloader app on your device. If you haven’t done this, refer to our Downloader Tutorial. Make sure it is the official Downloader app by AFTVNews.

2. Launch Downloader and click the search bar on top.

3. Type the following code 3110034 and click Next.

4. Wait a few seconds for the APK file to install.

5. Click Install.

6. Click Done.

7. Return to Downloader and click Delete.

8. Click Delete again.

9. Now launch the Cinema HQ application.

10. Wait a few seconds for the app to launch.

11. Click Deny as we don’t want this app accessing our device’s location.

12. Click Okay for this disclaimer message.

13. You have successfully installed the Cinema HQ app on your device.

How to Integrate Debrid Services

While Cinema HQ does have free links, for best results, we suggest integrating a debrid service like Real Debrid. You can easily do so within the Settings of the application.

1. Launch Cinema HQ and click Services on the left menu. Then click Sign In with Real-Debrid or your preferred service.

2. You are then provided with a real-debrid authorization code.

3. Visit real-debrid.com/device and enter the code you are given.

4. You should see an “Application allowed” message.

5. Return to Cinema HQ and you will notice that Real-Debrid is now Connected.

Cinema HQ Details & Categories

Cinema HQ offers a clean interface with several content options. Categories include Movies, TV Shows, Live TV, Anime, Games, Watchlist, Services, and Settings.

The Movies tab offer thousands of VOD titles and can be filtered by Genre, Year, and popularity.

There is also a huge content library of TV shows to choose from.

There is a massive collection of Anime content across different subgenres.

The app even has retro game libraries for SNES, Sega Genesis, and NES with an integrated emulator.

Within the Settings tab you can change video players, customize link sources, configure your downloads folder, and more.

Cinema HQ has been around for years and remains a popular option among cord-cutters. Here’s what you should know before installing.

• Some live TV sources go offline and require the developer to replace them
• PIN dialog and text field focus issues persist on certain TV devices
• D-pad navigation bugs have been reported on Firestick and Android TV (fixes ongoing)

Is Cinema HQ Legal?
