Learn How to Install & Use Lumera APK on Firestick, Android TV and Google TV Boxes using our instructional guide below.

Lumera is a new Streaming Video App created for users looking to watch Video on Demand for TV Shows, Films, and more.

It functions similarly to the Stremio App with 3rd Party addon integration and extensive features such as Custom Discovery, Personalized Hub Rows, and built in advanced video player.

If you are a Stremio user, you can even integrate your Stremio Platform directly into the Lumera APK and import your Stremio Setup (Addons, Configurations, etc.)

One huge advantage that Lumera provides is the ability to create and manage various User Profiles for complete personalization capabilities.

NOTE: This app is currently in beta and therefore there are tons of bugs and issues still being ironed out as development continues.

In this tutorial, we are using an Onn 4K Pro to install and configure Lumera but this guide can also be followed using other compatible devices like Firestick/Fire TV or other popular Google/Android Boxes.

How to Install Lumera APK

1. Install Downloader App by AFTVNews (via Google Play or Amazon App Store) & enable Unknown Sources for the app within Settings. Launch Downloader.

2. Click the Hashtag button in the upper right hand corner to open the Keypad.

3. Type 250931 (this is the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox) and click Load.

4. You are now at the TROYPOINT Toolbox Home Screen.

5. Scroll down to find Lumera and click Download.

6. Select Install.

7. Click Done.

8. Choose Delete to remove the installation file.

9. Click Delete again.

10. Return to the home screen of your device and you will see Lumera has succesfully installed.

Create Lumera User Profile

As referenced earlier, one of the advantages to using Lumera is the ability to create and manage User Profiles. This is similar to the Nuvio application.

Once you launch the app, you are prompted to create your User Profile.

1. Open Lumera and click Create First Profile.

2. Choose your preferred Avatar or upload your own image.

3. Select a Color Theme or create your own.

4. You can now access your Profile or create another one!

Addon Integration

After creating your User Profile, you can now access the main interface of Lumera APK.

However, in order to stream content, you must first input a 3rd Party Addon which we can easily do via Settings.

1. Open the Side bar menu and Select Settings.

2. Scroll down and open the Addons tab.

3. We can now input a Stremio Addon Manifest URL to install the addon of your choice. For faster installation, click the QR Code button.

4. Scan the QR Code with your phone or mobile device to upload your Addon URL. (You can also use the Google TV App if you have one of these devices)

5. Click Install.

6. You will then see the addon listed under your “Installed Addons”.

7. If you use a customizable addon (such as MediaFusion), you can even toggle the Catalogs you want to sync.

One of the best things about Lumera that we do not see with other popular APKs is the ability to sync your Stremio Setup directly into the app.

Simply input your Stremio email and password (we always suggest using an anonymous email address such as StartMail) and click Connect.

You will then see the Connected to Stremio message.

You can now choose which Addons you want to Import.

Now your Stremio account is authorized for full integration!

Features & Details

Lumera is a powerful streaming application built around the Stremio addon ecosystem.

It features a highly customizable interface with custom hub rows, cinematic dashboards, and global content search for simple organization and multi-source content options.

The app also includes an advanced video player with adaptive streaming, subtitle controls, and intro-skipping, all built to function on popular streaming devices like Google/Android TV.

Within the Settings of Lumera are tons of features that will allow you to customize the app to your liking.

This includes Personalization options to enhance the viewing experience.

There are numerous Color Schemes/Themes available to choose from or you can create your own.

The Home Screen Editor has manageable Categories for Movies, Sereis, and more.

Playback Settings are also available including Frame Match Rating, Tunneled Playback, and the ability to enable external video player.

Those interested can also enable Auto-select Source to auto play the first available link option.

Make sure to visit the Settings Menu in Lumera to see all of the customization options it provides!

Troy’s Review

Although Lumera is still in beta, there are still tons of great features that make this app worth checking out.

After testing, we noticed a few small bugs and some playback issues but overall still a great platform to stream Movies and Shows.
