There are a few different ways to install a VPN on your Amazon Fire TV Stick. You can either use an app from the Amazon App Store, or side-load a third-party app using a process called “side loading”. We’ll show you how to do both below.

 

Install VPN from Amazon App Store

If you want to install a VPN on your Amazon Fire TV Stick using an app from the Amazon App Store, there are a few different options to choose from. We recommend IPVanish, as it’s one of the fastest and most user-friendly VPN apps available. To install IPVanish on your Amazon Fire TV Stick:

1. Search for “IPVanish” in the Amazon App Store and select the app when it appears in the search results.

2. Click the “Get” or “Download” button to begin downloading the IPVanish app.

3. Once the download is complete, click “Open” to launch the IPVanish app.

4. Enter your IPVanish username and password when prompted, then click “Connect”.

5. That’s it! You should now be connected to the VPN and can start using it to browse the internet privately and securely.

 

Install VPN using Downloader

If you want to install a VPN on your Amazon Fire TV Stick using a third-party app, you’ll need to side-load the app onto your device using a process called “side loading”. Sideloading is a bit more complicated than installing an app from the Amazon App Store, but it’s still fairly straightforward. We recommend using the Downloader app to sideload apps onto your Amazon Fire TV Stick. To install a VPN using the Downloader app:

1. first, from settings scroll over and click on My Fire TV

2. Go down to Developer options

3. There are two options that you need to turn on

4. Now you can download third-party apps

Once you have done that, click on home, or your back several times to get back to your home page

5. Search for “Downloader” in the Amazon App Store and select the app when it appears in the search results.

6. Click the “Get” or “Download” button to begin downloading the Downloader app.

7. Once the download is complete, click “Open” to launch the Downloader app, and press allow

8. From the right sections, you need to check that “JavaScript” is enabled (checked)

9. back to home and Enter the URL of the VPN app you want to install in the “Path” field, then click “Go”.

10. The VPN app will begin downloading onto your Amazon Fire TV Stick. Once the download is complete, click “Install”.

11. When the installation is complete, click “Open” to launch the VPN app.

12. Enter your VPN username and password when prompted, then click “Connect”.

13. That’s it! You should now be connected to the VPN and can start using it to browse the internet privately and securely.
