Pirate IPTV reseller sentenced to 5 years in prison – Yeah IPTV
A reseller of IPTV pirate services was sentenced to 5 years in prison and is now on the run.
A 54-year-old man who sold illegal IPTV subscriptions has been sentenced to five years in prison by Liverpool Crown Court.
Mark Brockley was reported to police by BT in 2018 and his Twitter account @Infinity_IPTV, which was used to sell illegal subscriptions, was suspended.
Brockley reportedly charged £15 a month for a subscription and made over 5,200 sales, making over £237,000 in revenue.
Brockley was found guilty of supplying items for use in fraud and fraudulently evading income tax.
However, Brockley reportedly fled the country with his dog and is now considered a fugitive. The City of London Police are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Authorities suspect that Brockley fled not alone, but with his dog and may have gone to France.
City of London Police are appealing for information on Brockley’s whereabouts and encourage anyone with knowledge to come forward, including anonymously via the Crimestoppers hotline.
Brockley was also involved in liquor sales through his company Anfield Gin following his involvement in the IPTV business, but the company’s website is no longer online.
