As mentioned earlier, Weyd requires a subscription so that’s the first thing we must take care of.

I will be registering anonymously as I would never want developers of questionable 3rd party apps to have any of my personal information or identifying IP Address. Plus, I don’t want my Internet Service Provider to know what I’m streaming.

These are general instructions and we strongly recommend watching the video above for important details not covered below.

Step 1: Register for an Account

1. Before going to Weyd Website to register, I first want to connect to Surfshark VPN.

2. Go to weyd.app and click My Account, then select Register.

3. I want to create an alias within StartMail, so I’m not giving out my real email address.

4. Create new email alias.

5. Input new address along with a chosen password, fill out captcha and click Sign me up.

6. Wait for the email to arrive and verify your account by clicking the link.

7. Log in with the same credentials used earlier in account creation.

8. Choose a Weyd subscription. (This is where you can opt for a Free Trial if interested.)

9. I’m going with the Lifetime option for 5 devices.

10. I’m paying with Bitcoin through my Coinbase account so there is a middleman between the developers and me.  Do not give your credit card details to these 3rd party apps!

11. Click Send now button.

12. Type in the verification code sent to your phone number on file with Coinbase.

13. Wait for the confirmation email that payment has been processed.

We’ve now paid for our subscription so we can move on to installing it on Firestick or Android TV/Google TV systems.

Step 2: Download the Weyd App

1. Install Downloader from Google Play or Amazon App Store and enable Unknown Sources for 3rd party app installation. Use our guide below if you haven’t already done this.

2. Launch the Downloader App.

3. Click the URL Menu bar at the top of the page or the hashtag icon.

4. Input the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox – 250931. Click the checkmark or Load to continue.

5. You are now at the home screen of the TROYPOINT Toolbox.

6. Scroll down to find the Weyd application and click it.

7. Select Install.

8. Choose Done.

11. Click Delete.

12. Click Delete again to confirm.

Installation is now complete! However, there are a few other steps we must take to get the app up and running.

Step 3: Activate Subscription

We will now activate our subscription with the account we created earlier.

1. Find Weyd from your apps list and open it.

2. Click the Settings icon from the left-hand menu.

3. Choose Subscription.

4. Click Connect Device.

5. Take note of device pairing information and move over to a browser on your PC, Mac, phone, or tablet.

6. Input details from #5 above, name your device, and click the Create button.

7. Once the pairing screen disappears, the Weyd app is now active on your Firestick or Android TV/Google TV box.

Step 4: Configure Your Debrid Provider

With Weyd now installed, we must set up the application by integrating a debrid account and downloading a provider package to scrape for streaming links.

In this guide, we are activating TorBox, but these instructions will also work for those who use Real-Debrid, Premiumize, or other service.

Follow the steps below to fully set up Weyd APK and integrate a debrid service.

1. Open Settings from the home screen.

2. Click Accounts.

3. Select TorBox or other provider of your choice.

4. Accept the Disclaimer message.

5. Make note of your provided code.

6. Visit your corresponding authentication website and input the code you were given.

7. Return to the Weyd App and you will see an Authorization success message. Click Done.

Step 5: Configure Weyd Scraper

Weyd also requires a “scraper” to find media links. Continue reading to configure the best Weyd Scraper.

1. Return to Settings and select Scraper.

2. Choose Scraper source URL.

3. Enter the following scraper URL – https://tinyurl.com/weydx and click OK.

NOTE: The easiest way to do this is with the Google TV App if you are using an Android TV Box, or by following our Copy/Paste Tutorial for Fire TV.

4. Accept the Weyd Disclaimer prompt.

5. You will see the “Scraper script updated” message.

Since Weyd doesn’t include any movies or TV show by default it is legal to use.

When setting up the app you will see disclaimers that the user must agree to, ensuring that copyright laws are not being violated.
