How to Install Kyu Launcher

In this guide, we are using an Onn 4K Pro to install Kyu Launcher but those with other Android/Google TV Boxes as well as Fire TV systems can follow along as well.

1. Install the Downloader App (if you haven’t already) and enable Unknown Sources within Settings to enable 3rd-party installation. Open Downloader.

2. Click the URL Menu Bar or hashtag icon to open the Downloader keyboard.

3. Input 250931 – the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox and click Load.

4. Scroll down to find Kyu Launcher and select it.

5. Click Install.

6. Choose Done.

7. Select Delete to remove the installation file.

8. Click delete again.

9. Find Kyu Launcher in your apps list and open it.

10. Select Allow.

11. Click Yes.

12. You will now encounter the Kyu Launcher home screen.

Although we are not a fan of Roku (due to their closed Operating System and ad-riddled home screen), the Kyu Launcher is a fabulous option for replacing the stock home screen on Android/Google TV.
